"The Core-Mantle Boundary"

I will first discuss how to define the CMB. I will then talk about the various
ways in which the core and mantle may interact both now and over geologic time
and how this may express itself in various observable aspects of Earth,
including the compositions of the outer core and mantle, the ultralow velocity
zone, the nature of D'', and the energy sources for the geodynamo. In part,
this is a talk about the challenges for observation, experiment and theory; it
will certainly not be the presentation of a definitive view.
