As a Lab Tech Assistant, I am responsible for the assembly and disassembly of various projectile launching guns that are used for high pressure shockwave experiments. These guns range from 20mm up to 90mm and are propelled by either light gasses or gun powder. Furthermore, I am also responsible for the preparation of the rock and mineral samples that are used in these shockwave experiments. More information about the lab can be found at: http://www.gps.caltech.edu/~sue/TJA_LindhurstLabWebsite/index.html
