Research
I am working with Prof. Jeroen Tromp on modeling seismic waves propagation in porous media. Of particular interest is propagation in heterogeneous shallow water sediments such as the littoral, and wave interaction with compact scatterers embedded in these sediments. Our present focus is to implement Biot propagation equations using the Spectral Element Method.

I am also interested in improving the resolution of the earth's mantle by taking the advantage of a full wave propagation spectral element method.
