Research
My research interests lie primarily in the field of earthquake engineering. More specifically, I am interested in the response of tall buildings to near-source ground motion. I have developed a 3-dimensional nonlinear analysis program to perform time-history analysis of steel buildings. I am now working on applying parallel computing to study super-high-rise buildings subject to strong earthquakes from nearby faults.
