Research
I work with Ass. Prof. Jean-Paul Ampuero on the detection and source modeling of slow and silent slip events and tremor. Further interests include seismic source modeling using multi-cycle simulations of variable sophistication, and the application of the generated synthetic seismicity in strong ground motion calculations; the evolution of frictional fault properties; the effect of fluids on seismicity pattern; source scaling and its dependence on deep slip during large earthquakes; determination of standard source properties from seismic records.
