About me
I manage the Community Seismic Network, a project begun in 2010 to densely instrument the Pasadena region by placing several thousand inexpensive seismic sensors in homes. I also manage the Peru Seismic Experiment, a collaboration between UCLA's Center for Embedded Networked Sensing and Caltech's Tectonic Observatory that began in 2004. My professional background and interests are largely in distributed computing systems.
