Research

I am interested in understanding the mechanical behavior of various geophysical objects, mainly focusing on the rheology of sea ice, rupture in continuous/granular geo-materials and sediment transport, i.e. granular dynamics, in rivers. The aim is to develop observational, analytical and computational methods that improve our understanding of the local mechanical processes at play in the overall behavior of each of those systems.
