Research
I am a PhD student in the Swiss Seismological Service at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. My work is supervised by Martin Mai (KAUST), Luis Dalguer (ETH Zurich) and Jean-Paul Ampuero (Caltech). In my research I try to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of earthquakes by analytical and computational modeling. Main points at the moment are dynamic simulations with off-fault yielding and analytical work on pulse-like ruptures.
