Research
I am currently working with Egill Hauksson and Prof. Tom Heaton on the implementation, testing and enhancement of algorithms for earthquake early warning in Southern California using the infrastructure of the Southern California Seismic Network (SCSN). I am also interested in (time-dependent) probabilistic seismic hazard assessment, procedures for the rapid generation and visualization of shake maps minutes after earthquakes, the simulation of strong ground motions and artificial neural networks.
