I am interested in wave-equation-based processing, imaging, and inversion techniques for seismic data. Back at Stanford, I have developed an effective target-oriented elastic full-waveform inversion method for active seismic survey. My current focus is on developing scalable and cloud-based wave-equation techniques to be applied to distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) data. Besides my seismic data interested, I have some experience in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data and ultrasound medical applications.
